Bottled at 104 proof—the highest proof in the Repeal Reserve lineup to date—Series IX is a meticulously crafted blend of four mature Indiana straight bourbons aged between 10 and 18 years.
The blend combines both 21% and 36% rye bourbon recipes, bringing together the rich maturity of well-aged whiskey with the lively spice and complexity that have made Ross & Squibb’s high-rye bourbons so sought after.
On the nose, Series IX opens with seasoned oak, ripe cherry, subtle tobacco, and worn leather. The palate delivers layers of warm oak, dark cherry, roasted coffee, caramelized sweetness, and smoky rye spice. A long, mature finish carries lingering oak and baking spice into notes of coffee, cherry, and tobacco.
